This is a reminder about the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Horsham District Neighbourhood Watch Association (HDNWA). This significant event will be held on 31 October 2025 at Horsham Police Station, Hurst Road, Horsham, RH12 2DJ, starting promptly at 09:30 and finishing by midday (although it may conclude earlier).

Your involvement and contributions are crucial to the ongoing success of our Association. As valued members, you already play a significant role within our large community. The AGM presents a key opportunity to reflect on our achievements over the past year, influence our plans, and connect with fellow members, local police representatives, Neighbourhood Wardens and other partners.

What to expect at the AGM

• An overview of 2025 and goals for 2026 from Inspector Neil Durkan.

• Updates from the committee on activities throughout 2025, including our Vision & Strategy.

• Details about ongoing projects and plans for 2025/26.

We are also holding a breakout group session to discuss two topics,

• How would you make NW more attractive to a younger audience?

• What changes would you make/encourage to modernise NW’s image?

Please get involved - If you have ideas to share, topics to discuss, or questions to raise, this is your opportunity to contribute. AGMs often serve as a launch pad to highlight areas for growth and improvement. Your guidance is essential in helping us set our direction and priorities for the future.

We warmly encourage you to join us and even consider becoming part of our team to help build the foundations of a stronger community in Horsham. There are openings within our vibrant, lively team, and we would love to utilise your strengths to further enhance our growth.

• Practicalities - Refreshments will be served before the start; please arrive a little earlier to enjoy these, as we aim to begin promptly at 09:30.

• The agenda will be posted on our website: https://www.horshamnhw.org.uk

• A map and information about nearby parking will be provided to all attendees. Parking at the police station is limited, except for reserved disabled spaces.
